椿油 – Camellia oil

熊本県・玉名で職人こだわりの
昔ながらの製法で作られた椿油

しっかりと熟した天然の椿を使用し、ゆっくりと時間をかけて絞った椿油の上澄みだけで作られた職人こだわりの椿油。
食用にも使っていただけるほど上質な椿油です。

別府つげ工芸のつげブラシは、椿油に何度も染み込ませていますが、使い続けるなかで、髪や頭皮へ少しずつ油が移ってゆき、椿油が少しずつ抜けてきます。

つげブラシを長く使っていただくために、また、ツヤやうるおいを髪に与え続ける為に、月に1～2回ほどのお手入が理想です。
冬は頭皮も髪も乾燥しているので、回数を増やし椿油を浸み込ませていただくとより効果的です。

薩摩つげは、木が時間をかけてゆっくりと成長するため、木目が大変細かいので、油によっては染み込まず、表面に浮いてしまうものもあります。

椿油はつげととても相性が良く、しっかりとつげブラシに染み込むのでおすすめです。

Although the brush is penetrated with camellia oil, as continue to use it, the oil gradually transfers to hair and scalp, and the camellia oil is gradually drying out.

To ensure Tsuge brush lasts as long as possible and continues to add shine and moisture to hair, we recommend caring for it about once or twice a month.
In winter, when both scalp and hair tend to be dry, it’s even more effective to increase the frequency of care and infused with camellia oil.

As Japanese Satsuma boxwood (Satsuma Tsuge) takes long period of time to grow, it is close grained. Some types of oil do not penetrate into the graine of the wood and it stays on the surface.

Camelia oil is compatible with Satsuma Tsuge, it penetrate deep into grain and it is recommend.
